On working with Botella Studio
Our Process
We work with designers, architects, and venue owners as a sourcing and fabrication partner. Most projects move through three phases: from the initial brief, through design and sourcing, to restoration and final installation. The work is collaborative throughout.
Timeline: 1 to 14 weeks
Every bottle is treated as the art object it is. We use proven shipping methods refined over decades of international projects, because arriving intact is non-negotiable.

Space Design
Most projects begin with a conversation. The designer or venue owner sends a reference image, a hotel back-bar, a residential entry, or a retail wall, along with the rough envelope of the space and budget. We respond within a week with a feasibility note: whether the scale is workable, what the bottle count would look like, and what the realistic timeline is.

Design and sourcing
Design and sourcing happen in parallel. We propose color palettes and shelving solutions that fit the room, and our team in Argentina starts searching for the right bottles. The bottles aren't interchangeable; each project has a slightly different sourcing brief.

Restoration
Restoration is the longest phase, typically two to six weeks, depending on the size of the project. Each seltzer is hand-restored and where the design calls for color, the glass is hand-dipped in our Buenos Aires workshop.

Organized for transport
Each restored seltzer bottle is placed individually in the original metal crates, six bottles per basket. The baskets are stacked on wooden pallets and secured with industrial-grade strapping to ensure stability during shipment.

Multi-layer protection
Each basket is wrapped in protective plastic and secured with FRAGILE labeling. The layering protects against moisture, dust, and vibration during international transit while keeping contents visible for customs inspection.

Sealed and documented
Complete pallets are wrapped, strapped, and labeled with detailed shipping documentation. Each pallet includes a manifest with bottle count, color variants, and destination address. Insurance coverage is arranged for the full shipment value.

Frequently Asked Questions
Order
Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
We pack every bottle carefully and are committed to delivering each piece in perfect condition.
If your bottle arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the package and the damaged item. We will review the issue and arrange a replacement or solution as quickly as possible.
Our seltzer bottles are carefully restored and intended for decorative use only.
Most of these bottles are around 80 years old. Although the glass is fully intact, with no chips or visible damage, we do not recommend filling them or adding pressure. They should not be used as working soda siphons.
They are best displayed as decorative objects, collected for their color, history, and sculptural presence.
You can order from 1 to 18 seltzer bottles from our available collection.
For larger quantities, we coordinate the order as a custom project or installation, with the possibility of preparing up to 400 bottles, depending on availability, colors, and timeline.
