These 1-liter lithographed seltzer bottles belong to the oldest generation of bottles in our collection. They share the same height as our ¾-liter lithographed bottles, but have a slightly wider, fuller silhouette.

They also carry a story you can see. Before *soderías* began engraving their names into the glass, they lithographed them onto the surface. But because bottles were returned and refilled again and again, rival soderías found it all too easy to remove a competitor's name and print their own. The disputes eventually led soderías to switch to engraving the glass.

These bottles survived that earlier era, and their remaining printed lettering is part of what makes them so rare.

Our workshop restores each siphon by hand, by the same family of restorers we've worked with for over 30 years. Every bottle is hand-dipped, giving it its distinctive, one-of-a-kind color. Please note that colors may appear slightly different in person due to lighting and screen settings.

The complete Lithographed Collection includes 8 one-liter bottles: blue, amber, yellow, apple green, green, red, violet, and clear.
