Set of three vintage luminaires

The bases of a 1930s seltzer bottle become a vessel for candlelight. The embossed names of the soderías remain in the glass, addresses, phone numbers, neighborhoods. A history you can read by firelight.

The glass is thick, heavy, and made to withstand pressure. It catches candlelight and holds it, glowing from within the way only this kind of old glass can.
